It started with a smile.
In 2013, Pablo Solare bought a small solar panel on Amazon, a motorcycle battery, and a solar charge controller for a college project. He wired it all together, plugged in his phone — and it started charging.
That moment — his first direct interaction with solar energy — made him smile. His own eureka moment. Something clicked: sunlight can be harnessed and directed! It felt incredible.
That same energy continues to drive Sprightful today. Over ten years and hundreds of installations later, it's wonderful to see our clients experience the same joy every time we complete a project.

Milestones along the way
The spark
Pablo built his first solar setup on his college campus — a small panel, a motorcycle battery, and a charge controller wired together by hand.
Campus charging stations
Pablo receives a grant to install 3 charging stations across the University of Florida campus.
Sprightful is born!
Pablo works with a local Gainesville solar company with 40 years of experience to learn as much as possible about solar installations on homes. Sprightful is born in June 2015!
First South Florida installations
Sprightful's first South Florida installations take place! Pablo's parents and uncles and close friends become the first Sprightful homeowners.
Growing momentum
Sprightful continues to grow! Installs dozens of solar projects, including its first project over 15kW.
World-class installation team
Sprightful brings together a world-class installation team. Hiring Dustin (Pablo's old boss) to lead it.
1MW milestone
Sprightful reaches 1MW of solar installed, including over 50kW in a single house.
Battery storage
Sprightful begins installing battery systems along with solar panels. Homes can now fully power themselves.
Shared Savings Plan
Sprightful launches the Shared Savings Plan — a solar subscription that allows people to get solar panels at no cost, a share of the electric bill savings pay for the equipment.
8MW installed
Sprightful reaches 8MW of solar installed! More than 500 homes powered by sunlight.
10 years of sunlight
Sprightful reaches a run rate of 100 projects per year. Sprightful is 10 years old!

Pablo started Sprightful with a simple belief: solar should make you feel good. Pablo's life is filled with sunshine, his wife Naomi, his 1 year old daughter Amari, his dog Kora, an undying curiosity to learn more about himself and the world around him, and a radical optimism that allows him to dream of an abundant future and universal unconditional Love.
Dustin Rodgers
Director of Operations
Dustin has been working in solar for over 2 decades. Before Sprightful was born, he was Pablo's boss and first solar guru. He treats every solar project as if it was his next masterpiece. He lives on a farm with his wife Rebekah, and his children Elisa, Annika, and Levi.
Andrea Leoni
Chief Experience Officer
Andrea is the reason Sprightful's reputation is second to none. Her passion for renewable energy is matched only by her dedication to quality and desire to provide the most pleasant solar experience possible. Andrea's favorite things are her community, dancing, days in nature, and bossing Pablo around.
Martin Corredor
CTO until AI replaces him
Martin is infinitely optimistic about technology and how it can improve the lives of all living beings. He joined Sprightful in 2026 with a core belief that he can help leverage all of what we have learned doing solar for the past 10 years in South Florida to improve the solar journey for people nationwide.
