Solar Panel Installation in South Florida

From the first design to final activation, we handle every step of your solar installation. Over 600 South Florida homeowners trust Sprightful to power their homes with sunlight—quietly, reliably, and built to last.

Designed for Your Roof. Built for Florida Weather.

Every Sprightful installation begins with a detailed assessment of your home.

We use high-resolution satellite imaging along with on-site measurements to understand your roof and design a system that fits your energy usage and layout. Each system is built specifically for the home, not pulled from a template.

South-facing roofs usually produce the most energy. East and west orientations perform at about 90% of that, and north-facing roofs are typically around 75%. Using Aurora software, we create a 3D model of your home to project annual production, factoring in equipment performance, long-term degradation, and local weather patterns.

From there, we take care of the full process, including engineering, permitting, inspections, FPL interconnection, and final system commissioning.

Once your system is up and running, you'll have 24/7 monitoring from your phone so you can track both production and consumption.

Your Solar Journey

From Signing to Sunlight in 4 Phases

  1. 1

    Onboarding

    We get the project moving.

We schedule your site visit, gather measurements and photos, and start preparing your engineering plans. If your home has an HOA, we also begin that process here. At the same time, we initiate the FPL net metering application.

  2. 2

    Engineering & Permitting

We turn your project into a fully approved plan.

We complete your engineering drawings, prepare all permitting documents, and submit everything to your local jurisdiction. If any revisions are needed, we handle them directly.

  3. 3

    Installation & Inspections

Your system is built and approved.

Once permits are issued, we schedule installation. The physical install usually takes a few days, and we coordinate all required inspections afterward.

Everything is installed for South Florida conditions, with structural attachments into roof framing and proper waterproofing at every penetration.

  4. 4

    Activation

    Your system goes live.

After inspections pass, we submit final documents to FPL. They install a bi-directional meter and grant Permission to Operate.

At that point, your system is fully active and producing power.
